I have just finished my painting Revelation Now II for the Union University, Jackson, Tn. the painting is 8 by 15 ft. and I would hope to get some more scripture to painted on a few open spaces. It is impossible to paint all the images of the Revelation in any one painting. I believe my images are proving and I feel good about this painting of a reduced size from 12 by 36 ft. I saw in the local news but the Greenville County foreclosures in the master of equity court covered eight pages in the Friday newspaper. This is the official notices on about 100 foreclosures in one week in this small county. Within three months all these will be and the families will be in the street. But if you look at the actual Bill of Rights, the first 10 amendments of that pesky Constitution, you'll see just how many remain for your protection. OK, No. 1 is gone. I mean, if you're detained without trial, you lose your freedom of religion and speech, press, assembly, all the rest of that. So, you don't need that any more. And you know, you can't petition the government for anything. No. 2, While you are in prison, your right to keep and bear arms just might be infringed upon even if you're in the NRA, so that's gone. Three, well OK, no forced sleepovers at your house by soldiers. Three's all right. Four, you're definitely not secure against searches and seizures, as it says here, with or without probable cause. And, in prison that's not limited to just the guards, so forget the fourth. Five, grand juries and due process, obviously out, so forget five and the little trailer up here. Six, well trials are gone too, let alone the right to counsel. Speedy trials? You want it when? Seven, well this is about-I thought we just covered trials and juries earlier so forget the seventh. Eight, well, bail's kind of a moot point isn't it? And nine, other rights retained by the people. Well, you know, if you can name them during your water boarding, we'll consider them. Ten, powers not delegated to the United States federal government. Well, they seem to have ended up there anyway. So as you can see, even without habeas corpus, at least one tenth of the Bill of Rights, I guess that's the Bill of Right, now-remains virtually intact. No. 3 is still safe. We can rest easy knowing that we will never, ever have to quarter soldiers in our homes as long as the third amendment still stands strong. The president can just take care of that with a signing statement. I could not reason with him. He has urged me repeatedly to burn the of idolatry painting and now he mentioned that most of the students at the Wisconsin u. show though the show was against Christianity. I asked him then if the students were happy with it or opposed to it being against Christianity but he did not seem to know. He said he ask you Norbert about why we do not paint the same against 'gays' but you never answered. I told him that my faugh faugh if it and my art make it clear that I am opposed it sodomy. I have a 4 by 4 ft. painting of Lot and his family leaving Sodom and Gomorrah where his wife looks back and was turned into a pillow of salt. I wonder why Don does not paint against sodomy. I told Don that the show at Union University they have chosen the art only the '7 days of creation' and the Book of Revelation + 6 other paintings of New Testament scenes. One is sermon on the mount, another is Peter walking on water and one is Adam-and-Eve in the garden. That one was in raw vision magazine. No way is this anti Christian. I told him of the great successes I have had in witnessing the gospel through university shows such as Furman here and University of Memphis but he did not recant. He stated emphatically that I should not be allowed to criticize a sitting president. I then ask him if he was suggesting that I be refrained from exercising my right to free speak under the First Amendment which gives me the right to criticize the president and the church. That only seemed to worsen our relationship. I mourn the loss of his confidence and good will. he told me that the Pentecost Church frightened him when he was a kid and his mother would take him to a service were people rejoiced and shouted and expressed themselves. when Bill Clinton was president everybody was critical of him and rightfully so because he was one of the Sodomites in Washington. i am sure Don was critical. suddenly if you are critical of the president then you are unpatriotic and side with bad. I agree with Don on sodomy but this administration seems to be full of Sodomites. only time will prove right. Don called me the night before and I happen to mention that Mike Huckabee said he could vote for any Republican candidate running except Ron Paul and Don responded favorably saying that if he could vote for abortion candidate Guiliani then he was not a good candidate himself which I agree with. This led to my saying some things like anti abortion people should not support our troops to kill innocent families in the war. Don expressed that its okay to kill innocent families in war. I expressed that we are on the path that Germany took under Hitler and Ron Paul expressed it as soft fascism. the movie 'America from freedom to fascism' is right on target. The recent killing of the habeas corpus provision of the Constitution is another case I cited but that made no difference. They can now arrest any Americans citizen without given a reason and hold them indefinitely without trial. What is different than the Nazis? Not only is the Internet filled with our downfall but now it's coming even out of the mouth of the beast such as MSNBC and even CNN.
